      There's usually a consensus on appointments to committees but this time Mr Ryall is replacing Peter Dunne - and opposition MPs had a lot to say about that garage storage cabinets.

      Labour, the Greens and NZ First railed against the government for its refusal to reopen the inquiry into who leaked the GCSB report and again called for a review of the country's intelligence agencies.
      Those three parties and independent MP Brendan Horan abstained from the vote. Mana Party leader Hone Harawira voted against it and the count was 63 in favour, one against and 52 abstentions.
      Mr Dunne resigned as minister of revenue last Friday because he refused to co-operate with the inquiry iron on labels
      He wouldn't hand over the emails he exchanged with Fairfax journalist Andrea Vance, who broke the story on the report before it was officially released.
      Mr Dunne has admitted he considered leaking the report but says he decided not to.
      Opposition MPs don't accept that and say he did leak it.
      Prime Minister John Key won't reopen the inquiry.
      The intelligence and security committee has oversight of the GCSB and the Security Intelligence Service.
      Its members are the prime minister and two MPs appointed by him, and the leader of the opposition and one MP appointed by him Asian college of knowledge management.
      Mr Key appointed Mr Dunne after the last election, but he was removed after the release of the inquiry report and replaced by Mr Ryall.
      The committee's members are now Mr Key, Labour leader David Shearer, ACT leader John Banks, Mr Ryall, and Green's co-leader Russel Norman.
